Hello to all that have come and visited my site. Some maybe wondering who this Joe Guy is and what is he doing in Grand Cayman.
Well I am Joseph Glasser from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I am an appliance repairman ( Like that Maytag guy on TV ) and I left my job at Sears to take up the dream and fix appliances in paradise. It was something that I did not know would happen or was really looking into until a fellow employee at Sears told me of it. With his help I was soon set on it and packed up my tools and headed south. The move happened fast and I was helped along with great support from my parents. They have had their own adventure living in krygyzstan for two years. Well Grand Cayman isn't a former Soviet country but is an adventure in its own right. The biggest change for me is the warmth, I left Canada in December and we didn't have much snow yet. I have felt that summer hadn't really ended and seems to be going strong. The weather is always warm and never do you leave the house wondering if you need a coat for later.
So far i have set up house and am settling in nicely. I have entertained one friend that has come down and am expecting more visitors soon. I hope to give more photos soon with out trying to repeat them. It is hard to find new ones when the island is so small and one beach looks like the other.
